Lisa Nicole Ahern and Charles Bruce Harper IV were united in marriage Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville.  The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Brooke Willson.

The bride is the daughter of Nelson and Betty Ahern of Mechanicsville.  She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BM in Music Education.

The groom is the son of Charles and Gail Harper of Mechanicsville.  He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Small Business Management.

The Maid-of-Honor was Ms. Jennifer Brenzovich, friend of the bride.  Bridesmaids were Katy Ahern, sister of the bride, Cassie Daniel, sister of the groom, and Sara Jacobson and Kira Hines, friends of the bride.  The flower girl was Gabrielle Daniel, niece of the groom.

The Best Man was Mr. Charles Bruce Harper III, father of the groom.  Groomsmen were Tee Daniel, brother-in-law of the groom, and Taylor Collie, Mike Jacobson, and Brandon Cole, friends of the groom. 

Music was provided by Lyrical Images, Adam Hughes, Kira Hines, and Jennifer Evers.  A reading was done by Sean O’Donnell.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Renaissance.  Music was provided by DJ Jim Dalton.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Mechanicsville.
