The marriage of Miss Mary Karine Francine Chapdelaine of Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Ms. Diane Lupien and Mr. Real Chapdelaine of Montreal, Canada, to Mr. Joshua Bobbitt Walker,  son of Mr. and Mrs. Buren Walker of Mechanicsville, took place on September 12, 2009, on the lawn, by the water, in Deltaville, VA.

The Rev. Lewis McPherren officiated.

The bride and groom, both musicians, are currently full time students at Howard University in Washington DC.

The couple resides in Woodbridge, VA.
