Julie Marie Cook and Andy Pearson, both of Mechanicsville, Va., were married Friday, April 22, 2011 in a 6 p.m. ceremony at The Via Club in Mechanicsville. The Reverend Shawn Williams officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Patricia C. Epstein of Beaufort, N.C. and the late Douglas M. Epstein. She is the granddaughter of Julianna Hinkson of Beaufort, N.C. She graduated from Ledyard High School in Ledyard, Conn. and earned an Associate’s Degree of Occupational Studies from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. She is employed as a Chef Manager for Aramark in Richmond, Va.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Pearson of Elm City, N.C. He graduated from Fike High School in Wilson, N.C. He is employed as a Sales Representative for Befco and Hudson Brothers Trailers.
The bride was escorted by the groom’s son, Dillon Pearson.
Bridesmaids were the groom’s daughter, Cameron Pearson, and the bride’s daughters, Kayla Cook, Hailey Cook and Isabelle Cook.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Via Club at Pebble Creek in Mechanicsville. Entertainment was provided by The Embers from Raleigh, N.C.
Following a wedding trip to St. Maarten, the couple resides in Mechanicsville.
