Dickie and Linda Dickerson of Mechanicsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Nicole Dickerson, to Andrew Michael Shaner, son of Mike and Sandi Shaner, also of Mechanicsville.

Miss Dickerson is a 2004 graduate of Lee-Davis High School and a 2008 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and is employed as a Department Specialist with SUPERVALU.

Mr. Shaner is a 2005 graduate of Lee-Davis High School and is employed at Street and Company as an Audio Visual Technician.

An October 2008 wedding is planned at the Celebrations at the Reservoir.
