The marriage of Jessica Nicole Dickerson, daughter of Dickie and Linda Dickerson to Andrew Michael Shaner, son of Mike and Sandi Shaner, took place October 4, 2008 at Celebrations at the Reservoir.  Rick Raines and Joe Martin officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, is the granddaughter of Joe and Mildred Martin and the late Everett and Phyllis Dickerson.  The groom is the grandson of George and Susan Metka, of Pottstown, PA, the late Kenneth Richards also of Pottstown, PA, Donald Shaner of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Joyce Parks of Sikeston, MO.

Miss Jonnelle Morris, friend of the bride, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Jennifer Dickerson – bride’s sister, Lindsay Martin and Audra Babb – bride’s cousins, and Beth Durvin – friend of the bride.  Junior bridesmaid were nieces of the bride - Taylor and Alyssa Dickerson.  Flower girl was Camyrn Dickerson, also a niece of the bride.

Mr. Ken Shaner, brother of the groom, was the best man.  Groomsmen were Neal Shaner – groom’s brother, Robbie Carroll – friend of the groom, and Kenny Clark and Mark Dickerson – bride’s brothers.  Ring bearers were the bride’s nephews Jaxson Clark and Ryan Dickerson.

Music was provided by Commonwealth Brass, singers included Ken Shaner, Neal Shaner, Janee Kensey, and LeRoy Hughes.  Tracy Thomas was the pianist.  Miller Photography was photographer and Memories Videography was videographer.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Mechanicsville.
