Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Duke of Mechanicsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Abbie Amanda Duke to Samuel Johnan Duenckel, the son of Mr. Damon Duenckel of Greeneville, Tenn., and Ms. Jane Duenckel of Newnan, Ga.
In 2004, both Abbie and Sam earned B.S. degrees in Business Administration.
Abbie is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.
Sam is a graduate of Berry College in Rome, Ga.
Abbie and Sam will both graduate with a Masters of Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond May 2007.
An October wedding is planned.
