MR. and MRS. JOHN BRIAN GULAK
the former Miss Ashley Renee Edmunds
The marriage of Miss Ashley Renee Edmunds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Edmunds and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Moore of Mechanicsville, to Mr. John Brian Gulak, son of Mr. Roger Gulak of Mechanicsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Zehringer of Varina, took place June 5, 2010 at The Historic Mankin Mansion in Richmond. The Rev. Andrew Mutter officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gresham of Urbanna, and Mr. Leslie Edmunds of Mechanicsville, and the late Ms. Elizabeth Edmunds formerly of Mechanicsville. The groom is the grandson of Ms. Barbara Patterson of Mechanicsville, and the late Mr. Keith Patterson Sr. formerly of Henrico, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dmytro Gulak formerly of Ashland.
The matron of honor was Kelly Brewer of New Kent. The bridesmaids were Crystal Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla., Michelle Puckett of Mechanicsville, Becky Counterman of Chesapeake, Amy Farmer of Mechanicsville, all friends of the bride, and Amber Patterson of Mechanicsville, cousin of the groom. The flower girls were Brianna Puckett and Madisen Farmer both of Mechanicsville.
The best man was Buzz Brewer of New Kent. The groomsmen were Larry Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla., Ricky Link of Varina, Keith Garrett of Richmond, all friends of the groom, Neal Moore of Mechanicsville, brother of the bride, and Barry Patterson of Mechanicsville, uncle of the groom.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at The Water Grill, in Richmond. The reception, hosted by the parents of the bride was held at The Historic Mankin Mansion following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple will reside in Mechanicsville with their two dogs Maggie and Oscar.
