Chad and Shannon Porter of Mechanicsville joyfully announce the birth of their son Elisha Sherrod Porter, V. 

Eli was born at Memorial Regional Medical Center on September 17, 2011 at 6:20 p.m.  He was 6 lbs. 8.8 oz. and was 19 inches long.  Eli was welcomed home by big sister Brynn.
Proud grandparents are Mark and Connie Dominey of Mechanicsville, Martha Porter of Mechanicsville and Buddy Porter of Williamsburg.  Great-grandparents are Robert and Peggy Giles of Glen Allen and Margaret Bradley of Mechanicsville.
