The marriage of Miss Samantha Brooke Jacobson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Jacobson of Mechanicsville to Mr. Noah Justin Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bond, Jr. of Mechanicsville, and Mr. Wayne Ford of Dillwyn, Va. took place Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Northside Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Va.  The Reverend Wayne Smith officiated.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris VanZile and the late Mr. Thorney VanZile, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Jacobson.  The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Ellenor Walton and the late Mr. Robert Walton and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ford, Sr.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.  Mrs. Kelli Robertson was matron of honor; Miss Heather Clay was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Dana Thom, Mrs. Alex Prosser and Miss. Katie Paravati.  Miss Mella LeRoy was flower girl.

Mr. Sam Ford was his brother’s best man.  Groomsmen were Mr. Wayne Ford, Mr. Jeremy Small, Mr. Richard Robertson and Mr. Samuel Bond, Jr.  Master Todd Robertson was ring bearer.  Mr. Kenneth Whitlock sang “Keeper of the Stars” during the unity sand ceremony.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bond, Jr., mother and stepfather of the groom took place at Maggiano’s Little Italy.  The reception featuring dinner and dancing was held at The Jefferson Lakeside Country Club.

Following a romantic honeymoon at the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Mechanicsville with their Yorkie, Benelli.
