Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Jones of Mechanicsville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ashley Jones, to Ilija Jumrukovski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Zlate Jumrukovski of Rochester, N.Y.

Lauren is a graduate of Atlee High School, and Ilija is a graduate of Webster Schroeder High School. Both are graduates of Virginia Tech. Lauren received her Masters at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Lauren is employed with Henrico County Public Schools, and Ilija with Ryan Homes.

A May 2012 wedding is planned.
