Kevin and Diane Metheny are proud to announce the birth of their son, Joseph Nathaniel Metheny (Nate). Nate was born on August 5th, 2007 at Memorial Regional Medical Center, weighing 6lbs.12 oz and measuring 20 inches long.  He was welcomed home by his sisters, Kaitlyn and Caroline.  Proud grandparents are Charlotte and Larry Bishop, Dick and Gerri Workman (all of Mechanicsville), and Buddy and Judy Metheny of Sandston.  Nate’s family would like to thank Drs. Galgano and Schraa, and especially all of the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s and UVA Medical Center who saved Nate’s life more than once during his lengthy hospital stay.  We are so glad to be home!
