Barry and Pam Kintzer of Mechanicsville are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethanie Kintzer to Scott Bartone, son of Kathleen and Gerard Bartone of Albany, N.Y.

The bride to be is a 2001 graduate of Atlee High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. The groom to be is a 1999 graduate of Guilderland High School in Albany, N.Y. and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Albany.

Both are currently employed within the financial services industry in Greenwich, Conn.

The couple met through mutual friends while living in New York City and look forward to an August 2011 wedding in Charlottesville.
