Mr. and Mrs. Linwood E. Loving of Mechanicsville are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Elizabeth Davis Loving to Mr. Matthew Austin McCray of Mechanicsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Andrews of Aylett and Mr. and Mrs. Willis E. McCray Jr. of Mechanicsville. The ceremony took place on October 18, 2008 at Northside Baptist Church in Mechanicsville. Rev. Ken Peters of Vineyard Christian Fellowship officiated.
Elizabeth is the granddaughter of Mr. E. C. C. Woods Jr. and the late Evelyn D. Woods of Hanover and Mrs. Jean S. Loving and the late C. Bernard Loving of Mechanicsville. Matthew is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Pauley and the late William N. Fulwider Sr. of Ashland, Mr. and Mrs. Willis E. McCray of Mechanicsville and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Andrews of Mechanicsville.
Maids of Honor were Miss Emily Loving and Miss Nicole Campbell of Richmond, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Nicole D. Campbell, sister-in-law of the bride, Miss Amber McCray, Miss Holly McCray sisters of the groom, Mrs. Kattie Chabot friend of the bride, all of King William and Miss Mary Peters, cousin of the bride of Richmond. Flower girl was Miss Evelyn Campbell, neice of the bride.
Best Men were Mr. Willis E. McCray Jr. father of the groom and Mr. Steve Andrews step-father of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Colin Campbell, brother of the bride, Mr. Shawn Nadeau, Mr. Daniel Chabot , friends of the groom all of King William. Mr. Ernie Giordano, and Mr. Shawn Williamson friends of the groom both of Mechanicsville. The ring bearer was Austin McCray, cousin of the groom.
After a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple will reside in King William.
