The marriage of Miss Megan Alice Loving of Hanover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Loving of Hanover, to Daniel Lee Nixon of Mechanicsville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale H. Nixon of Mechanicsville, took place October 6, 2007, at Slash Christian Church in Ashland. The Rev. Steve Lesher officiated.
The bride, escorted by her father, is granddaughter of Warren and Myrtle Duling of Hanover, and Alvin Loving and the late Eleanor “Honey” Loving of Ashland. The groom is the grandson of Elizabeth Coates and the late Willard Coates of Ashland, and the late Gerald and Florence “Lou” Nixon.
The bride and groom graduated from Atlee High School in 2004. The bride is employed by Hanover County Public Schools. The groom is employed by Hanover Fire and EMS.
After a Honeymoon Cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Hanover.
