 Megan Parrish McGhee and Nicholas Paul Hill McGhee-Hill Miss Megan Parrish McGhee and Mr. Nicholas Paul Hill were married May 17, 2008 at Oak Hall Baptist Church in Sandston. The Reverend Abbie Duenckel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David P. McGhee of Mechanicsville. The groom is the son of Mrs. Paula Hill and the late Stephan Hill, also of Mechanicsville.
The bride, escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, is the granddaughter of the Mrs. Dorothy McGhee and the late Raymond McGhee of Sandston, and Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Perkins of Richmond. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Gaudioso of Copiague, NY.
Miss Kristen Spittle, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Alayna Adams, cousin of the bride, Miss Gina Hill, sister of the groom, and Miss Katie Miltner, friend of the bride. Miss Grace Adams, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Mr. Christopher Uerz, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Dante Hill, brother of the groom, Mr. Mason McGhee, brother of the bride, and Mr. Brian Nash, friend of the groom.
Guest book attendant was Mr. Caleb Adams, program attendant was Mr. Curtis Welch, and candle lighter was Mr. Zachary Adams, all cousins of the bride.
Mistress of ceremonies was Mrs. Susan Jones, friend of the bride. Music was provided by Mr. Barry Burijon, pianist. Soloist was Mr. Chris Adams, uncle of the bride.
A reception followed at the historic Hanover Tavern.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple happily resides in Mechanicsville with their dogs, Blazer and Diesel and cat, Denali.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Lee Davis High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. The bride is employed at Memorial Regional Medical Center. The groom is an employee of VCU.
