The marriage of Miss Mei Qing Chen and Mr. Herbert Trent Overton III, both of Mechanicsville, took place Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008 at the Historic Hanover Courthouse.

Miss Chen is the daughter of Mrs. Bi Fang Ye and Mr. Zhi Dong Chen of Fuzhou, Fujian China. Mr. Overton is the son of Mrs. Judith Marie and Mr. Herbert Trent Overton Jr. of Mechanicsville.

A honeymoon to Fujian, China is planned. The couple will reside in Mechanicsville.
