The marriage of Miss Holly Lynn Overton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert T. Overton Jr. of Mechanicsville, to Donnie Wade West, son of Donnie L. West of Mechanicsville took place May 10, 2008 at Hanover County Historic Courthouse. Mr. Nelson E. Whitt officiated.

The bride and groom wish to thank the members of the Black Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. along with family and friends for their love, support and sharing in such a special day. The couple resides in St. Stephens Church, Va.
