The marriage of Miss Megan Elizabeth Pabst and Mr. Kurt Kenneth Richey took place Aug. 28, 2010 on Buckroe Beach in Hampton, Va. Mr. Joseph Travis Branch officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents Mr. Donald L. Pabst and Mrs. Susan E. Call of Mechanicsville. She is the step-daughter of Bennett J. Call and Kimberly S. Pabst. She is the granddaughter of Mr. James D. Egan of Chester and the late Mrs. Catherine O. Egan of Chester.

The groom is the son of Susan M. Parker of Mechanicsville and the late Mr. Kenneth A. Richey of Sunrise, Fla. He is step-son of Ronnie L. Parker. He is the grandson of Mrs. Mickey T. Foor.

Mrs. Rebecca M. Woody of Mechanicsville was the maid of honor. Mr. Christopher S. Patrick served as Mr. Richey’s best man.

The former Miss Pabst is a graduate of Lee-Davis H.S. and of Virginia Commonwealth University. She is employed by Colonial Webb.

Mr. Richey is a graduate of Lee-Davis H.S. and is currently employed by Atlantic Constructors.

After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica the newlywed couple now resides in Mechanicsville.
