John and Tiffany Smithson of Varina happily announce the birth of their daughter, Parker Rain, born Sept. 23, 2009 at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Parker was born at 11:07 a.m. measuring 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 22 inches long.

Proud grandparents are John and Linda Smithson of Mechanicsville and Ron Bender of Reading, Pa.
