 Diana Marie Pearson and Frank Raymond Muntean III Pearson-Muntean The marriage ceremony of Miss Diana Marie Pearson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Sutton Pearson of King William to Frank Raymond Muntean III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raymond Muntean, Jr. of Mechanicsville took place June 28, 2008 at Gethsemane Church of Christ. Ronnie Jones officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Guy Jr. of West Point, the late George W. Moore, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Pearson of King William. The groom is the grandson of Connie M. Muntean of Mechanicsville, Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Muntean, Sr. of Rockville, and Mr. and Mrs. William S. Miller, Jr. of Sandston.
Miss Laura Pearson served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Muntean, sister of the groom, Olivia Gillett, cousin of the bride, Ashley Lipscomb, Elizabeth Smith, Julie Smith, Lisa Wilkerson and Jessica Williams all friends of the bride. Chesden Reed served as the flower girl.
Frank Muntean Jr., father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Stewart, godfather of the groom, Ben Anhold, Nathan Harris, Jarrett Moran, Tim Neal and Dan Simpson, all friends of the groom. Michael Gillett, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Mrs. Laura Heath sang “Only God Could Love You More.” Tommy Adams provided instrumental music. The mistresses of ceremony were Tina Woody and Jaime Miller.
After a ceremony, a reception, catered by Peggy Guy and Associates, was held in the church pavilion. The bride and groom were also blessed with several pre-ceremony festivities. In May, a miscellaneous shower at Gethsemane Church of Christ fellowship hall was hosted by Tina Woody, Anita Gillett, Jaime Miller, Ashley Lipscomb and Gracie Reed. In June, Joly, Jenna and Ann Marshall hosted a bridal shower at the home of Joe and Joly Marshall. A bridal luncheon given by Stephanie Moore was held at the home of Jimmy and Betty Sue Mills. A lingerie shower, hosted by Laura Pearson, Kathy Adams, Tammy Boyer and Phyllis Boyer was held at the house of Mark and Kathy Adams. The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner, catered by Riverbound Café, on June 27, 2008 in the fellowship hall of Gethsemane Church of Christ.
The bride is a graduate of Christopher Newport University where she earned a degree in English. The groom graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently employed by E-Tech Mechanical in Richmond.
After a honeymoon trip to Nags Head, N.C., the couple resides in Rockville, Va.
