Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Lee Ramsey of Aylett, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Christy Renee Ramsey, to Mr. Jason Matthew Murphy of Mechanicsville, son of Ms. Susan Jones Murphy of Mechanicsville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. Charles A. Brock of Mechanicsville, and the late Mrs. Sharon Rose Brock formerly of Mechanicsville, and the late Ms. Marie C. Willis formerly of Richmond, and the late Mr. Robert Hudson Ramsey formerly of Franklin County, Va.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Joyce Jones of Highland Springs, and the late Mr. Marvin Jones of Highland Springs, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wyatt of Port Haywood, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Murphy Sr. of Sandston.

Miss. Ramsey is a graduate of King William High School and is currently employed with Dominion Virginia Power.

Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Lee Davis High School and Radford University and is currently the owner of Fence Scapes LLC.
