The marriage of Miss Leslie Paige Rice of Mechanicsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin T. Rice of Mechanicsville to Joshua Eric Bell of Durham, N.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick E. Black of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. and Mr. Claude L. Bell of Durham, N.C., took place October 24, 2009 in Duck, N.C.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents in the beachside ceremony. The Reverend Patricia Haresch officiated.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and now resides in Richmond.
