Edward (Bucky) and Barbara Shope of Mechanicsville will celebrate their 50th anniversary on April 12, 2008. They have two sons and three daughters with nine grandsons, one granddaughter, one step granddaughter and on August 28, 2008 the family will welcome a new child to the family.
