Jeff and Robin Underdown of Mechanicsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Elizabeth Underdown, to Joshua Jamshid Eftekhari, son of Daryush Eftekhari, of Richmond, and Joan Eftekhari of Port Angeles, Wa.
Jamie is the grandaughter of Joyce Via and the late Oscar Via, of Mechanicsville, and Hattie and Stuart Davis of Quinton.
Jamie received her B.S. degree in Biology in 2007 from The College of William and Mary and is currently employed by Commonwealth Biotechnologies in Richmond.
Joshua attends The College of William and Mary and will receive his B.S. degree in Anthropology in May of this year.
The couple will be married in Mechanicsville in July of 2008.
