The marriage of Miss Susan Elizabeth White of Glen Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Edward White of Mechanicsville, to Mr. Robert Joseph Ippolito of Richmond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Natale Ippolito of Mt. Sinai, N.Y. took place Sept. 10, 2011 at Northside Baptist Church in Mechanicsville. Doctor Jeff Scott officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. William Ellinger of Amherst, Va. and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward White of Monroe, Va. The groom is the grandson of Anna Esposito and the late Frank Esposito and the late Thomas and Lena Ippolito all of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Mrs. Jennifer Gray and Mrs. Deborah Koopmann of Mechanicsville were their sister’s matrons of honor.
The bridesmaids were Miss Shannon Brooks of Richmond and Mrs. Erin Heineck of Roanoke. Junior bridesmaid was Miss Carina Ippolito of Durham, N.C., niece of the groom. Miss Laura Kelly, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Mr. Paul Ippolito brother of the groom of Smithtown, N.Y. was best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Jonathan Gray, brother-in-law of the bride of Mechanicsville, Mr. Christopher Ippolito, brother of the groom of Durham, N.C. and Mr. Stephen Ippolito brother of the groom of Centereach, N.Y. Junior groomsman was Brandon Kelly, nephew of the bride. Ring bearer was Joshua Gray, nephew of the bride.

Mr. James Gleason of Apalachin, N.Y., cousin of the bride, was soloist. The music was provided by organist, Mrs. Pamela Cross and guitarist, Mrs. Dana Gleason. Mr. Michael Posllico of Mt. Sinai, N.Y. was reader. Mrs. Heather Wilson was guest book attendant and program attendant was Miss Shelby Brooks. Mistress of Ceremonies was Mrs. Kim Wilson.

A bridal luncheon, given by the bride’s sisters, was held at the Dominion Club. The rehearsal dinner, given by the groom’s parents, was held at the BlackFinn Restaurant. The wedding reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Hilton Hotel and Spa at Short Pump.

After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple will reside in Glen Allen.
