The marriage of Heather Lynn Pacini, of Alexandria, VA, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence and Joie Pacini of Portage, MI, to Kenneth Ryan Whitlock, of Columbus, OH, son of Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth and Donna Whitlock of Mechanicsville, VA, took place on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at Stetson Chapel in Kalamazoo, MI.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marion Schneider of Chicago, IL, and the late Mr. George Schneider; and Mrs. Lorraine Pacini of Northport, FL, and the late Mr. Charles Pacini. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Doris H. Van Zile of Mechanicsville, VA, and the late Mr. Thorney C. Van Zile, Jr.; and Mr. & Mrs. Preston T. Whitlock, Sr. of Mechanicsville, VA.
The bride, escorted by her father, was given in marriage by her parents. Mrs. Lara Sortman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Laurie LeRoy, sister of the groom; Mrs. Shivali Bathani, and Ms. Sheryl Meulman, friends of the bride. Ms. Shruti Puri, Ms. Megan Spillane, and Ms. Beth Weaver, friends of the bride, were hostesses. Miss Alyson Gonzales was the flower girl.
Mr. Cesar deGuzman, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, Mr. Richard Feierabend, and Mr. Ashutosh Shah. Ushers were Mr. Gregory Raupers, Mr. Kenan Shifflett, and Mr. Duy Nguyen, friends of the groom.
Readers were Mr. Adam LeRoy, brother-in-law of the groom; and Mr. Lionel West, friend of the groom.
Mr. Kenneth Whitlock, father of the groom, sang “Parent’s Prayer”, accompanied by Mr. Edward Dublis on piano.
The bride, a graduate of the University of Michigan, is a Human Performance Manager with Accenture. The groom, a graduate of James Madison University, is also employed by Accenture as a Supply Chain Consultant.
After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple now resides in Alexandria, VA.
