On Thursday, Haymarket II Productions—The Ville Players—will open with its second production, “A Mechanicsville Madrigal Christmas.”

Play dates are Dec. 10-12, 17-19 and 28-29, with the show starting at 7 p.m. A Sunday matinee is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 20.

“A Mechanicsville Madrigal Christmas” will be presented at 7468 Lee Davis Road in Mechanicsville.

Founders Wanda Barber and Pam Beatty ask that those planning to attend bring a present for the Christmas Mother and a can of food for the Food Bank, in exchange for a lottery ticket for a door prize.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and over) and $8 for children 12 and under.
