Deputies make arrests in residential burglaries

Several arrests have been made on recent residential burglaries in the western area of Hanover County by the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators have linked four daytime residential burglaries occurring between Dec. 31, 2008, and Jan. 7, 2009, to four individuals. These burglaries occurred in the 1900 block of Hewlett Road, the 14000 block of Verdon Road, and both the 16000 and 17000 blocks of Goshen Road.
Those arrested are identified as:
—Danielle Lee Barker, an 18-year-old female from Ruther Glen, has been charged with three counts of breaking and entering and possession of marijuana.
—James Edwin Hall, a 23-year-old male from Milford, has been charged with four counts of breaking and entering, four counts of grand larceny, and one count of conspiracy.
—Jesse Allen Heflin, a 26-year-old male from Woodford, has been charged with four counts of breaking and entering, four counts of grand larceny, and one count of conspiracy.
—Nichole Elizabeth Monahan, a 27-year-old female from Milford, has been charged with three counts of breaking and entering.
These arrests were made in cooperation with the Caroline County and Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
In response to this series of daytime residential burglaries, the Sheriff’s Office will be hosting two Community Forums to provide information on Neighborhood Watch initiatives and to answer any questions regarding crime trends in Hanover County.
The forums, to be presented by Deputy Barry Bland, crime prevention specialist, are scheduled for:
7 p.m. Feb. 3 at Beaverdam Elementary School.
7 p.m. Feb. 5 at South Anna Elementary School.
