“Hanover’s Future” to be discussd at HABCC breakfast meeting

The director of Hanover County Economic Development will address “Hanover’s Future” on Tuesday, Feb. 7, as part of the Hanover Association of Businesses and Chamber of Commerce’s Breakfast Seminars series.

Edwin Gaskin will speak at 7:45 a.m. A question-and-answer session will follow at 8:45 a.m.

The breakfast meeting, which includes a hot buffet, will be held from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at Country Inn & Suites at 11600 Lakeridge Parkway in Ashland.

Jennifer Y. Scott, executive director of the HABCC, said, “Our Breakfast Seminars are created to provide a series of pertinent topics for small business owners—keeping us all informed of technologies, policies and tools that could change how we do business.”

Village Bank is sponsoring the Breakfast Seminar. The cost is $17 for members in advance or $20 at the door. Non-members will pay $20.Register online to pay in advance by credit card or Paypal. Payment is accepted at the door with checks or cash. Checks also may be mailed to the HABCC, 9097 Atlee Station Road, Suite 117, Mechanicsville, Va. 23116.
