The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) announced that the Mechanicsville ABC store located at 7057 Mechanicsville Turnpike closed temporarily on Sunday, July 5, at the close of business for remodeling.
The store will reopen at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20.
The Mechanicsville store, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances creativity with functionality by considering visual appeal along with issues such as security, maintenance and accessibility for the disabled. Color combinations, ergonomically shaped counters and aesthetically pleasing displays are some of the focal points.
For customer convenience the following locations will be open regular hours or visit http://www.abc.virginia.gov for a complete listing:

A major source of revenue for Virginia, ABC has contributed more than $1.3 billion to the commonwealth in the last five years.
The agency currently operates 334 state stores, and its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees more than 15,000 ABC licensed establishments.
