The Town of Ashland, known as “The Center of the Universe,” had a special surprise visitor Monday afternoon when Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican candidate for vice president, stopped by Homemades by Suzanne. Although the visit was closed, the streets were lined with supporters trying to catch a glimpse of the candidate. Residents did bring out their signs to show their election spirit.
