On Saturday, April 28, Kings Dominion will be open until 10 p.m. As soon as dusk falls, more than 1 million LED lights will turn on for Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular. Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying suspect in purse theft Contributed Report news@mechlocal.com The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office needs assistance in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for stealing a gold Dolce & Gabanna purse. According to Sgt. Chris R. Whitley, the theft took place the evening of March 24 at a local business in the 7300 block of Bell Creek Road in Mechanicsville. The suspect can be seen in two surveillance photos, which were recovered during the course of the investigation. After the theft, Whitley said it is believed that the suspect hid the purse in a silver four-door vehicle, which was parked in the same parking lot of the business where the theft occurred.
