Raymond Morrison Fearnow, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at his home. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha Miles Fearnow; two sons, David Miles Fearnow and wife, Melissa and Michael Thayer Fearnow; granddaughter, Julia Allison Fearnow; his brother, Herbert C. Fearnow Jr. and wife, Brenda; his sisters, Wanda F. Birch and husband, Jim, Jean F. Lane and husband, Floyd, and Joan F. Currie and husband, Donald; numerous nieces and nephews; and the Miles family, with whom he had an especially close relationship. He was a graduate of the University of Richmond, Duke Divinity School, and Union Theological Seminary in Richmond.  Mr. Fearnow was a lifelong member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. 
He was former co-owner and secretary/treasurer of Fearnow Brothers Cannery, and was an avid cyclist, photographer, and devoted grandfather.  His quiet strength, kindness, and sense of humor endeared him to his family and friends. The family received friends Tuesday July 10, 2007 at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd.  Funeral services were held Wednesday July 11, 2007 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 8209 Shady Grove Rd. with the graveside service occurring at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Jason Hugh Hendrick, 22, of Mechanicsville, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. He is survived by his parents, Ly Lim and Eab Om; a sister, Shannon Hendrick, grandmother, Sorn Prom and grandfather, Wilton Hendrick. Jason was a 2003 graduate of Atlee High School.  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home.  Interment was at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
