William Lee “Shag” Bourne Jr., 68, of Mechanicsville, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Ann Bourne; and son, Thomas Glenn Bourne. He is survived by his wife, Trudy B. Bourne; his children, James E. Bourne, Elizabeth A. Shockley, Elizabeth Johnson, Michael Johnson, Kathleen Bourne, Samantha Bourne, Branden Kemp and Bradley Kemp; four grandchildren, William Bourne, Katherine Bourne, Bryant Bourne and April Bourne; a sister, Barbara Franks; and also several nieces and nephews. The family received friends Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8005 Atlee Rd., Mechanicsville. Graveside services followed in Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Larry C. Carroll, 55, of Mechanicsville, passed away, Sunday, April 13, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe T. Carroll. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Carroll; two brothers, Ollie B. Carroll Sr. and Joe T. Carroll Jr.; two sisters, Rebecca L. Graff and Bonnie Grater; also, several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family received friends Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. and where a funeral service was held Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Graveside services were private.
James Clyde Isenhower, 93, of Jacksonville, Fl., temporarily residing in Ashland, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Surviving is his wife, Frances Yancey Isenhower. The family received friends Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where services were also held Saturday, April 19, 2008. Graveside services were held in Jacksonville, Fl. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, c/o Dorothy Bairefoot, 4848 State Hwy. 200, Winnsboro, S.C. 29180.
Thomas Anthony Olivieri, 78, of Mechanicsville, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Surviving are his wife, Dolores Olivieri; son, Thomas Andrew Olivieri; daughters, Cathy Schatzburg and Cindy Cline; grandsons, Kenny, Christopher and Connor Cline. Services were private.
