Garland Thomas Davidson, 87, of Richmond, died Friday, November 30, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Walter(Dave) Daniel Davidson, Jr.; her daughters Lynn D. Winfrey and Beth D. Woodburn; her son Stephen S. Davidson; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family received friends Sunday evening December 2, 2007 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Funeral services were held on Monday December 3, 2007 at the funeral home. Graveside services were held at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be designated to the Missions Department of First Baptist Church on Monument Avenue.
Annie J. St. Martin, 70, of Millers Tavern, went home Saturday, November 24, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Joseph E. St. Martin; son, David St. Martin; two daughters, Sylvia Brown and husband, Carl, Rhonda James and husband, Richard; four grandchildren, James, Heather, Christopher, and Bryan. The family received family and friends Monday, November 26, at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. where funeral services were held Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Graveside services followed at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
Rex C. Wester, 91, of Richmond, departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Glenna F. Wester; son, Rex Wester Jr. and wife, Debra; three grandchildren, Aimee W. Turner and husband, Matthew, Cliff and Chad Wester; one great-granddaughter, Jillian Turner. Mr. Wester was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from E.I. DuPont in 1976 after 37 years of service and was a devoted member of Northminster Baptist Church and the Baraca Class. The family received friends. Sunday, November 25, 2007 at The Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., Mechanicsville, Va.. A service of celebration was held at Northminster Baptist Church, Westwood and Moss Side Avenues, Richmond, Va., on Monday, November 26, 2007. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Masonic Home of Virginia, 4101 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, Va., 23223. Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Nancy Lee Williams, born August 17, 1914, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Williams; three sons, Thomas Allen Daniels, Richard E. Daniels, and Robert E. Williams; and daughter, Joyce L. Ussery. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara D. Gammon (Bervin) and Carrol W. Sillmon (Robert); 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. The family received friends at Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Tuesday November 27, 2007 and where services were held Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Graveside services were held at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
Christian Alijah Yeganeh, infant son of LeeAnn Yingling and Jamie Yeganeh, grandson of Steve and Donna Yingling, born November 25, 2007, went to rest Sunday, November 25, 2007. The family received friends Tuesday November 27, 2007 at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Graveside services were conducted Wednesday November 28, 2007 in Riverview Cemetery.
