Frank Leo Jennings Sr., 83, a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, went to be with his Master and Savior Tuesday, May 8, 2007. He was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Gale Jennings.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Leona Baldacci Jennings; daughter, Sandra Collins and husband, David; sons, Frank Leo Jr. and wife , Jana, Paul Eward and wife, Judy, Steven Arthur and wife, Mary, and Daniel Wade and wife, Susan.
He was an adoring grandfather to nine grandchildren, Eddie (Eva), Sarah, Stuart, Stephanie, Pierce, Dylan, Dakota, Elizabeth and Jeremy; and proud great-grandfather to Jacob and Tiffany.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and in the Marine Corps during the Korean Crisis. He was a lifelong member of both VFW Post 9808 and American Legion Post 175.
He was a member of Broaddus Memorial Baptist Church. An optician in Richmond for 60 years, he was affiliated with G.L. Hall Optical Company, Sears and Roebuck, Broad Street, Jennings Optical Shop, St. John’s Optical and Lindsey’s Opticians.
The family received friends Wednesday and Thursday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services were conducted Friday, with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Helen McCauley Lacy- The family of Helen McCauley Lacy would like to thank all of the health care professionals, personal care givers, neighbors, and friends who have provided comfort and attention. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2007.
A memorial service was held for her at Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 4 p.m.
Immediately following the service, her daughter, Teresa Lacy Duke held a service at Burkwood Swim and Racquet Club to share memories of Helen with her grandson, Carson McCauley Duke, and celebrate her life with her family.
All Souls Episcopal Church has been important to her and her family.

Eva Lois Lee, 89, died May 8, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Louis Lee Sr.; and grandson, Chris Duggan.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Norma Duggan and husband, William; son, Carlyle L. Lee Jr. and wife, Barbara; four grandchildren, Ben and wife, Caryn, Andy and wife, Sayward Duggan, Wesley Lee and wife, Kelly, and Scott Lee; one great-grandchild, Blake Duggan; two nieces, Joyce and husband, Tony Lanasa, and Carolyn and husband, Billy Rose; six great-nieces and nephews; and her loving cat, Star.
Family received friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., on Wednesday. Graveside services were conducted Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or to the Hanover Humane Society.

Dolores Wood Mitchell, 76, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007. She was a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her sons, Gary Wood and wife, Susan, and Steve Wood and wife, Judy; four granddaughters, Jenna Wood Cooper, Amanda Wood, Tracy Wood Blankenship, and Kim Wood; sister, Nancy Hicks; and brother, George Gary.
The family received friends Monday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services were held Tuesday, May 8.
Interment was held in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
