Linda L. Mancuso-Bush, departed this life to be with the Lord Friday, October 12, 2007. She was born November 8, 1939 in Waynesburg, Pa. She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bush; and her parents, Sidney and Florence Mancuso. She was a loving mother to her three sons, who survive her, Stephen Kurtz (Pam), Timothy Kurtz (Dianna) and Robin Kurtz (Alison). The joy of her life was being a grandmother “Nonna” to her five grandchildren, Phillip Kurtz, Courtney Kurtz, Harrison Kurtz, Michaela Kurtz and Victoria Kurtz. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Spiece; and brother-in-law, Byron; and nephews, Byron Spiece Jr. and Jeff Spiece; and niece, Kristan Duda. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. The family received friends Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. A Mass of the Resurrection was held Tuesday, October 16,2007 at the Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. with graveside services following at Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

Mrs. Finnella Saunders Fearnow, of Mechanicsville, died October 8, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Nelson Fearnow Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Ganelle Fearnow Smith of Virginia Beach, Va., and her husband, Larry, Sandra Fearnow Norton of Bar Harbor, Maine, and her husband, Phil; her son, George Nelson Fearnow Jr. of Mechanicsville, Va., and his wife, Kay; her twin sister, Fannie Saunders Beazley of Fredericksburg, Va.; her grandchildren, Scott Gorry, Kay Gorry, Brian Norton, Elizabeth Norton, George N. Fearnow III, and Patrick Fearnow; and her great-grandchildren, Grace, Ashleigh, and Meredith Gorry. Mrs. Fearnow was former co-owner and vice president of Fearnow Brothers Cannery, a longtime member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, and a member of the Pamunkey River Garden Club. Family received family and friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., on Wednesday October 10, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 11, 2007 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 8209 Shady Grove Rd., with graveside services occurring in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mildred Maye Jones, age 70, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2007. She was preceded in death by her son, Doug. She is survived by children, Willie Jones, Tommy Jones and his wife, Pam, Lynne Kimbrough and her husband, Ned; two grandchildren, Carey and Levi; sisters, Harriet Nuckols, Nancy Arnold, Mary Poole, Betty Jo Coats; and a number of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. The family received friends on Sunday, October 7, 2007, at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, Rt. 301 & Shady Grove Road. Services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at Signal Hill Memorial Park.

Walter L. “Pete” Tiller Jr., age 83, of Deltaville died Tuesday, September 25, 2007. He was a retired VDOT employee, a member of Philippi Christian Church, and a World War II Navy veteran. Survived by his wife, Shirley N. Tiller; a daughter, Rebecca T. Barnett and her husband, George of Mechanicsville; two grandchildren, Hannah and Jason Barnett; stepchildren, Diane Lucas and her husband, Don, Jimmy Mears and Theresa, Jackie Sandefer-Gonsen and her husband, Luis; step grand children, Meghan and Will George, Kyle and Jaime Mears, Lydia and Javie Sandefer, Kyle Vigil, James and Jerry Eason; and his faithful dog, Joy. Memorial services were held 2 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 in Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville. Graveside services private. Memorial gifts may be made to Philippi Christian Church, P.O. Russell A. Wiegratz, age 27, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2007.  He is survived by his wife Jessica Lynn Wiegratz, children; Amara Jade two years old, and Zane Alexander one year old.  He is also survived by his parents Daniel and mary Wiegratz, older brother Daniel, younger brother Anthony, Father-in-law; Ronald, mother-in-law; Debra, Goddaughter; Victoria Chavez, his brothers and sisters at the Police Department and numerous other family and friends.  He was a dedicated City of Richmond Police Officer, and an Eagle Scout.  A loving father and husband, he will be greatly missed by all.  His children and wife will love him forever and he will never be forgotten.  The family received friends on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, Rt. 301 and Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville with a memorial service following. A Funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 15, 2007 at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 300 N. Sheppard St., Richmond. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wiegratz Family Fund 200 W. Grace St., Richmond, Virginia 23220. Graveside services were held at Sunset Memorial Park.
