The Local goes to the Alamo! While attending the graduation ceremony for
Airman Joshua Carbone at Lackland AFB, Texas, Airman Carbone took a moment
out of his much needed town pass to pose with brother Stephen and sister
Makenzie in front of the Alamo located in downtown San Antonio.

How Did You Beat the Heat?

How did you beat the heat this past week? This little fellow, after helping himself to our bird feeder, laid his body flat on our deck to enjoy the cool wood. It took him several valiant attempts to find the best position.

Taking the Local on vacation

Attached photos were taken at Breezes Runaway Bay, Jamaica on July 7th. From left to right is Lesley Moseley, Jennifer Jones, Kevin (our favorite Jamaican bellboy) DeeDee Smith, and Lisa Loving. All from Mechanicsville except Lesley (and Kevin of course) DeeDee and Jennifer are sisters. We had a great time and hope the storm didn't do too much harm as we're looking forward to going back next June for our 4th visit to Breezes!
