Local goes to Canada

Ashley and TJ Allen took the Mechanicsville Local to Niagara Falls, Canada.
The Allen family traveled to Niagara Falls to celebrate Ashley's upcoming
graduation from Atlee High School, then traveled to Rochester, NY where TJ
wrestled in the Brute Empire Nationals Tournament.

Local in Kuwait…

1LT Thomas Claytor currently is serving his second tour in the Middle
East during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The above photo was taken at the
Mubarak Range in Southern Kuwait, where Claytor is the Fire Support
Officer for the Delta 3/116th Infantry unit. When not
deployed, Claytor lives in Mechanicsville with his wife, Holly, and
their two dogs, and is a deputy with the Hanover County Sheriff's
Office.

Outer Banks Spring Break 2008

While on spring break 2008, some local Hanover residents spent the week in the Outer Banks and brought along the Mechanicsville Local to read the article about Mr. Smith and Daisy the pig. They took a break from the sun just long enough to pose for this photo.
