For the Christmas holidays our family went to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We took a photo in front of the Casa Rosada, or the Pink House. This is the Argentinean version of the White House. The balcony in the background is also notable as it was where Eva Peron (Evita) would address the people. Pictured clockwise from the left are: Sean, Tom, Norma, Chris, Tom, and Mike Verdicchio.

Girl Scout Brownie Troop #793 'sang for others' suppers' during it's 3rd Annual Caroling for Cans event on Dec. 19th. All food and non-perishables donated were given to the Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Fund (MCEF) Food Closet the next day. Upon delivery, a good portion of it was immediately bagged and given to our Mechanicsville neighbors in need for their holiday dinners. Thanks to all who donated, to the girls for their efforts, and to MCEF for helping to keep Mechanicsville the caring community that it is. - submitted by Tina Fix
