Mechanicsville Local at top of Mt. Washington on vacation

Keith Henderson with son, James Henderson brought their Mech. Local to the summit of Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. (8-19-07) Mount Washington is the tallest mountain in New England. The bottom of the mountain was 78 degrees. At the top, 6288 ft. up, it was 15 degrees with 50 mile an hour winds.

Hamilton Children and the Local Visit Disney World

Local studies to Oxford

Rebecca Zimmerman and Claire Logan Arnett spent their summers in England studying at Oxford! Claire studied with the Virginia Program at Oxford and Rebecca studied with the University of Virginia Program at Oxford.

Local in Iraq

My son PFC Thomas (Tommy) M. Seidita Jr. is with the VA National Guard 29th
infantry division and he is stationed in Al-Asad Iraq. He was deployed in
November and is currently driving armored vehicles for the army. He enjoys
catching up on local events by reading the local.
