Local Travels to India: Taj Mahal

I spent two weeks in India and I took the Local with me! I was there for two weeks in March with my girlfriend Ann visiting her parents and seeing some sights. We saw 3 major cities: Bombay (now called Mumbai), Delhi, and Cochi. We visited the Backwaters of Kerala, tea plantations in the Nigrili Mountains, several hitorical sites, and the Taj Mahal.

This photo is taken at the famous Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. The Taj is in Agra, Utter Pradesh, India.

Local visits Hanover, Jamaica

Justin Goodwin caught a largemouth bass

Justin Goodwin, a 17 year old amatuer fisherman, caught a 9 pound 8 ounce largemouth bass in a local Hanover pond. The fish was caught April 13th, 2008, 2:30 p.m. on a plastic worm.

Chris Hancock Eagle Scout

Troop 523 of Cool Springs Baptist Church recently held an Eagle Court of Honor to recognize Chris Hancock of Mechanicsville for attaining Scouting's highest rank. Chris is the son of Mary and Kyle Hancock and is a freshman at Atlee High School. His leadership project consisted of clearing the site and building a children's playground for Grace Episcopal Church in Goochland, VA.
