Mech Local in Iraq
Thu. Oct 9, 2008

The last couple months of this deployment I was assigned to work on a NIPTT team, which stands for National Iraqi Police Training and Transition team. It's one of the key efforts in handing back over the security to the Iraqi people. Some girl scouts from Mechanicsville sent a ton of cookies and soccer balls, and I shared some. I've been deployed since the end of October 2006, and am schedule to return to the States the first week of December.
