I found this on The Mechanicsville Local and thought you'd be interested: Local finds it way to the 2009 Baseball Spring Training On a recent trip to Tampa, Florida, Gail & Ralph Ellis they had a chance to see the 2008 World Series Champions Philadelphia Phillies play the New York Yankees at the Bright House Field in Clearwater. They also saw games between the Detroit Tigers and Florida Marlins and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Toronto Blue Jays. While there they visited with former Mechanicsville residents and family members, Bonnie and Paul Thomasson.
