Raymon Minor scored nine of his game-leading 20 points in the third quarter to help Patrick Henry pull away from Douglas Freeman 50-45 in a Colonial District boys basketball game Wednesday.

Minor finished with eight rebounds for the Patriots, who trailed at the half but turned the tide after the break with heavy defensive pressure.

“We had a lot of steals in the third quarter,” Patriots coach Randy Anderson said. “We were able to get our hands on the ball.” Luchel Sylvain paced the Rebels with 11 points.
