Emma Mitchell gave up one run in the first, then held Hanover scoreless over the next seven innings, Allison Tingler delivered the game winning RBI in the eighth and Patrick Henry defeated the Hawks 2-1 in the Central
Region quarterfinals last night.

Mitchell finished with seven strikeouts and Tingler went 2 for 3. Sam Moore was 1 for 3 with an RBI for the Patriots, and Madison Gilman went 2 for 4.

Mary Beth Sciolino finished 2 for 4 with a run for Hanover.

In another game, Kelly Heinz pitched a complete game one-hitter, then knocked in a run as Lee-Davis beat J.R. Tucker 4-0.

Lacie Madison went 2 for 3 with a triple for the Confederates. The Tigers’ Monica Hilario finished 1 for 2.

Run, which is set to start tonight at 7:30.
