We would like to invite all future Patriots, ages 6-14 to attend our 2nd Annual Boys Basketball Skills Development Camp that will be taking place in August along with our girls’ program.
The camp takes place from 1-4 p.m. each day. The cost is $50 if pre-registered before Aug. 1 and $55 after Aug. 1. Siblings can be preregistered for $45 each. A camp t-shirt is included.

Atlee senior pitcher Cam Maxey signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. UMBC is a NCAA Div. I sports program that was recently recognized by US News as the #1 up and coming university in the country.
Maxey chose UMBC over Longwood, VMI, Randolph-Macon and Hampden-Sydney.

Lee-Davis swimmer Melissa Davis signed a letter of intent to continue her competitive career and education at George Mason University in the Fall of 2012. Davis has been a four-year member of the LDHS swim team. She has competed at the State Swim meet all four years of her high school career. She was named 2012 Central Region Swimmer of the Year this past season.
On April 21, five Hanover students traveled to Columbus, OH. to compete in the Ohio Tournament of Champions (OTOC). OTOC is the largest one day event in the nation with approximately 3000 entries for this year’s tournament.
Carson Allen of Oak Knoll MS went 4-2, DNP; Charlie Belvin of Atlee HS went 2-2, DNP; TJ Allen of Oak Knoll MS went 3-1 took 2nd place; J.D. Gregory of Hanover HS went 5-1 and took 2nd place; Corbin Allen of Hanover HS went 5-0 and was crowned OTOC champion.
Dynamo Soccer participated in their first Travel Tournament as a new team at the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament in Stafford, on March 17-18 . The girls won their division against some really wonderful teams. We would like to try to reward them for such an awesome tournament.
While fishing in Pennsylvania on April 14, 2012, Sam Ehrhart of Mechanicsville caught this 16-inch Palimino trout and one brook trout on worms. His dad, Bob Ehrhart, caught the other five brook trout on a rooster tail spinner.
The new “Travel Ball” team with RBA EAST 8U division is local boys that are seven and eight years old as well as one five year old. In their first season they played in the April Fool’s Day Tournament (USSSA) at Mechanicsville Little League and placed second in their division. We are very proud of our boys and would love to give them the recognition we feel they deserve for all their hard work. A special thanks to our Coach Dave (not pictured) for great job as our score keeper.
